Large Scale Display & Wraps

It’s funny how the size of large scale display design doesn’t mean you suddenly get expansive white space. In fact, I found the opposite to be true. To a designer, more space means the content will stand out more and read clearly. To clients, more space means you can include more information.

Pernod Ricard commissioned me to design portable bar wraps for various Atlantic City venues. This one is for The Pool After Dark at Harrah’s Casino. We did several, but this one is my favorite.

The Bally’s casino in Las Vegas was looking for something a bit more exciting than a solid lime green backdrop for their sportsbook bar. This sexy rock & roll meets football design spanned 22 feet.

At this scale, the model looked nearly life-size. I was told later that the wall became a popular photo spot for tourists.

PortaDecor created these bars for Belvedere’s program at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, one of the largest casinos in the U.S. There were lights inside the bar that shone through the semi-transparent design and changed colors, giving the bar a lightshow effect that drew in customers.
