Bottega Americano was San Diego’s most highly anticipated restaurant opening in 2014, and subsequently was named San Diego Magazine’s Best New Restaurant in 2015. Zagat named them one of the hottest new Italian restaurants in the U.S. Their concept includes full-service dining, a swanky bar and a marketplace with specialty coffee, meals to go and foodie goods.
Branding had been defined by the owners prior to my joining the team, so designing with clear guidelines has been quite a pleasure. Their fantastic floral logo was designed by the brilliant minds at Schoos Design.
An extension of the restaurant experience with its vintage Italian glam feel, the website is also feature-rich and easy to navigate.

As residents of the Thomas Jefferson School of Law, Bottega Americano treats the students as part of the family. This design was part of their outreach campaign to distribute information about their student meal offerings.
